Quick Look

Work

Digital Illustrations - Series 1

I want to take images and explore the concept of the male versus female gaze. I want to create one surrealist piece similar to Paulina Almira taking both concepts in a very surrealist way and having them in conversation in one image. Then similar to Penny Slinger and Shahzia Sikander I hope to make a couple of images focusing on adding women into unconventional spaces that are primarily male-dominated. I think it would be interesting to take the same images and put them together under the theme of the male gaze for one of them and the female gaze for another one. Thus having two images that show the same thing but tell two different stories juxtaposing one another
